Delivery & Shipping Policy
At JNS Technologies CC, we aim to deliver your barcode equipment, label printers, and mobile computers as quickly and securely as possible. All nationwide deliveries are fulfilled through our primary logistics partner, The Courier Guy, ensuring reliable door-to-door delivery across South Africa.
1. Delivery Options & Shipping Rates
- Gauteng Local Delivery: FREE delivery for qualifying commercial orders within major Gauteng metropolitan hubs (Johannesburg, East Rand, Pretoria).
- Nationwide Express & Economy Delivery: Flat-rate or volumetric weight-based shipping to all other provinces across South Africa via The Courier Guy.
- Order Collection (Benoni): Local collections are welcome at our Benoni facility during regular office hours once your order has been processed and confirmed ready.
Verification: To confirm your exact delivery charge prior to payment, request a formal quote containing your delivery street address and postal code.
2. Processing & Delivery Lead Times
- Order Processing & Preparation (2 to 4 Working Days): Upon receipt and account clearance of your Proof of Payment (POP), equipment is transferred from warehouse facilities and prepared for dispatch.
- Transit Times (via The Courier Guy):
- Major Hubs (JHB, CPT, DBN, PTA): 1 to 2 working days transit time after dispatch.
- Outlying & Regional Areas: 2 to 4 working days transit time after dispatch.
3. Order Tracking & Waybill Information
Once The Courier Guy collects your package from our depot, we will email you your official Waybill Number.
To track your shipment live:
- Visit The Courier Guy Tracking Portal and enter your waybill number.
- Monitor your delivery status or contact the courier directly for route updates.
Verification: You will receive an SMS or email notification from The Courier Guy on the morning of your scheduled delivery date.
4. Collection & Delivery Address Requirements
- Physical Address Required: The Courier Guy delivers strictly door-to-door to commercial addresses and residential street locations. We cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
- Receiving Hours: Deliveries occur between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. Please ensure an authorized representative is available at the provided address to inspect and sign for the package.
5. Damaged or Incomplete Shipments
- Package Inspection: Before signing the courier waybill, inspect the outer carton for visible signs of physical damage or tampering.
- Reporting Discrepancies: If a package arrives visibly damaged or items are missing, note the issue directly on the driver’s waybill copy and report it to sales@jnstech.co.za within 24 hours of receipt.
