Unlike standard Bluetooth devices that share crowded 2.4 GHz frequencies with Wi-Fi routers and smartphones, the QM2500 operates on narrow-band radio frequencies (433 MHz or 910 MHz depending on the region). This narrow-band connection pierces obstacles and eliminates cross-talk, ensuring uninterrupted data transmission even in dense RF environments.

• Two-Triangle Blue Aimer: Provides immediate visual targeting guidance so operators can isolate specific barcodes on crowded labels or picking lists.

3. High-Performance 2D Optical Imager

Equipped with a 1 MP optics system, the QM2500 reads 1D and 2D barcodes omnidirectionally. It captures poorly printed, smudged, or damaged codes, as well as digital barcodes displayed on smartphone screens or viewed through transparent plexiglass checkout barriers.

4. Motionix™ Motion-Sensing Technology

Datalogic’s Motionix™ technology detects hand movement and seamlessly transitions the scanner between handheld mode and presentation (hands-free) mode without requiring manual trigger toggles.

Deployment & Configuration

The QM2500 connects to host terminals using standard communication cables or USB-C interfaces. System administrators can configure device settings using Datalogic Aladdin™ 3.0, an intuitive software utility that allows remote setup, firmware updates, and the generation of programming barcodes to scan directly from screens.
